NETWORTH – 15M by age 40
My Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG). Am determined to have a positive networth of Ksh. 15million by the time am 40 years young. Hopefully this will give me a solid financial foundation as i cruise into mid-life and then on to the sunset years.
NETWORTH – 4M by DEC 2010
My midterm version of my 15×40 BHAG. The plan is to have a positive networth of Ksh. 4million by December 2010. This goal helps to break down the bigger goal to bite-sized goals to something achievable in the near term.
EMERGENCY SAVINGS
I am hoping to build an emergency fund that can sustain me for at least 6 months of normal living or 9 months of bare bones living in the event of job loss or any other emergency. So far so good
STOCK PORTFOLIO
I aim to have a portfolio at the Nairobi Stock Exchange worth at least half a million shillings by year end 2009. Although badly hit by the prices going south in the recent months am still in it for the long haul and continue to build my portfolio
