One of my inspirations for this blog is J.D Roth’s blog over at Get Rich Slowly. For most people the thought of getting rich slowly is as unpalatable as cold chips and warm fanta. However, it goes without saying that, as boring as it may sound, this is the surest way to financial freedom, save for winning the lottery or inheriting a fortune from a rich uncle.
I also thought that somehow with a good job and a healthy drive to succeed, the doors to riches would swing open for me effortlessly. Sadly, the bitter truth is that is as unlikely to happen as manna from heaven making a comeback. But, if like me, you are on the slow, well-trodden path to financial abundance then you are on the proven path as the likes of Warren Buffet will no doubt attest.
